1PAST SIMPLE TENSE: ( THÌ QUÁ KHỨ ĐƠN)
a/Form:(hình thức)
-Dạng khẳng định:

-Dạng phủ định:

* Cách thành lập động từ ở quá khứ:
 
-Thêm “ED” cho động từ hợp quy tắc. ( vd:rain--> rained)
-Dùng dạng V2 ( tra bảng động từ bất quy tắc) cho động từ bất quy tắc. (vd: come--> came)
-Cách chia TOBE ở quá khứ đơn:
 

I / HE/ SHE/ IT/ Nsl.                   + WAS

WE/ YOU/ THEY/ Npl.              + WERE

b/Use: (cách dùng)
-Diễn tả một hành động đã hoàn thành tại một thời điểm xác định trong quá khứ.
VD: He visited me yesterday. ( Hôm qua nó đến thăm tôi)
-Diển tả một hành động đã hoàn thành trong suốt thời gian trong quá khứ.
VD:I often played soccer when I was young.( Khi còn trẻ tôi đã thường chơi bóng đá)
-Diển tả một loạt hoạt động đã xảy ra kế tiếp trong quá khứ.
VD:She got out of the car, unlocked the door and went into the house. ( Cô ta đã ra khỏi chiếc xe, mở cửa và bước vào nhà).
